What are the 5 elements related to health?
First - breathing; 2 - water; 3 - exercise; 4 - meditation; 5 – nutrition
1 - Breathing: Too often, people breathe badly. We have to breathe through the stomach, not the chest, like babies do. Watching a baby breathe: his belly swells with each breath and deflates when he hopes.
2 - Water: How many glasses of water should you drink per day? Most people assume that you should drink 8 glasses of water a day. Remember to drink water according to your weight. If you weigh 160 pounds, you need to drink 10 glasses of water while if you weigh 100 pounds, 6 glasses of water is enough. How to do the calculation? Divide your weight by 2 then, from the result obtained, divide by 8 (for an 8-ounce glass of water). you then get the number of glasses of water that you are advised to drink daily. Here is an example, for a weight of 130 pounds: 130/2 = 65/8 oz. = 8 glasses of water. Water is the only element that accesses the brain. We should drink it at room temperature. When the water is taken cold, the heart must pump until the water reaches body temperature, which is wasted energy.
3 - Exercise: Walking, swimming, biking, yoga are all beneficial activities. Even Wii-Fit (exercise done in front of the TV through a training game) can get you back in shape. The important thing is to practice an activity that you enjoy and that allows you to work all parts of your body.
4 - Meditation: It is taking the time to stop to watch a child play, a leaf fall, the water run down or listen to a bird sing. In short, it is to relax the body and the mind.
5 - Nutrition: EAT WELL, words that speak volumes. What is good for the palate is not necessarily good for the body. Promote healthy foods with high nutritional value to restore your body to its vitality and balance.
And think about it: ARE YOU DRINKING ENOUGH OF WATER?
Until next time and "HEALTH" -
BE WELL!
